I love Ames High because it is truly a community. The importance of going to school with people of many different backgrounds is clear when you go to Ames High. Our sports and music culture is unmatched and there are opportunities for all people. I am certain that if you ask most students at Ames High that they are incredibly proud to be students here, as I feel as well.

Ames High School has provided a wide variety of programs, classes and activities which allow my kids exposure to a variety of educational experiences.

I graduated from Ames High School in the fall of 2024. I was involved in band, art, and theatre. I had a great experience and felt ready for college upon graduation.

Ames is a great school with many opportunities to students in many fields of study! They are ranked very high in test scores, but also value clubs and arts as well.

Didn't realize how great of an education I had received from Ames High until I got to college. AHS really prepared me to succeed at the next level. Also, many great opportunities with academic clubs, sports, arts, music and other misc. clubs. Thrilled with my experience at AHS.
