Ames middle school has a lot of teachers who dont help with problems, like bullying,fighting. The food sticks. mostly because you can always get bacon with your sandwich. If you want pizza you have to get what they have out. If would be really cool if they got taco pizza.

They do not recognize Dr.notes to excuse students for absences or partial students especially those with disabilities. Will count a special needs autistic student absent for a whole period even after providing a Dr's note to leave 15 minutes early.

While there are some dedicated teachers at the Middle School, and a very good music department, the negatives of the middle school far outweigh the positives

My son has thrived at Ames Middle School. The teachers are supportive and challenge students to continually improve both academically and socially.
