"People are pretty friendly here, so when they're out and about, they talk to their neighbors." A day in Edwards might start with a morning bike ride along its greenbelt trail, followed by coffee and pastries at The Dot Cafe, and it could end with a musical at Ames Community Theater. Edwards' housing is relatively diverse, with most construction spanning from the mid-1970s to the early 2000s. Most of the neighborhood's single-family contemporaries and ranch styles are priced from $135,000 to $775,000, with the home's condition and size determining the price. The elementary and middle schools are within biking or walking distance of most residents. Edwards Elementary School has a B-plus rating on Niche, and Ames Middle School has a B rating on Niche.
