I attended Amesbury High School for my high school experience. I had a lot of great teachers and coaches who supported me in many ways throughout my schooling and athletics.

It is hard to take classes, not offered, or to be more advanced in a class that is offered because the public school system Hass to operate within the confines of the state, making it hard to adjust any curriculum to a students needs.

I liked how involved teachers are in students' success. Most teachers truly care about every kid and wish for them to succeed.

Great elementary schools. Ok middle school. Good high school. Average - above average public school education. Recent changes at the high school should have positive effect.

Just a lousy school with poor course choices because there is no money for them, unless you play a sport then there is always enough cash for that.

Amesbury school system is consistently one of the worst in Massachusetts. What baffles me is why we have the highest property tax rates in the states and the worst school system. Shouldn't our tax dollars be spent on our childrens education rather than an overly staffed and unnecessary police force?...
