There are so many amazing teachers at this school that deserve far more respect from their students than they get. While I reviewed the admission to be very low, some of them are amazing, you just need to know who to talk to if you really need something. The school definable needs an update soon as water damage is starting to make the celings of upper floors cave in and/or leak. They definitely put a lot more into sports than in the arts but that is a very common issue and they just awarded the theater company a good chunk of money that I hope goes to good use. There are many things that I love and hate about this school but I found some of the most amazing people here and that made all the bad stuff worth it.

Marion L. Steele High School has been a wonderful school to attend for my 4 years of education there. I have never had any problems with academics or teachers, and I was always able to get the help I needed.

I have had a great experience with my school, teachers and administrators at Steele. I have enjoyed playing basketball with my friends and developing skills that will help me in the future. As with any school, safety has always been a concern, but I do believe Steele works hard to make our schools and facilities as safe as they can. I look forward to using the skills learned in my future endeavors.

Pretty great. The teachers are very willing to help their students succeed and provide courses to help them get ahead, such as college courses and vocational classes/school opportunities

The community does not support the school system and the high school is not organized to handle that. Every extra curricular is pay to play and even after you scrap the money together, the Board of Education will have no record that you paid. The high school at Amherst is like a different planet whe...
