This public school, located next to Stoddard Park, at the corner of W. Katella Avenue and 9th Street, serves about 750 students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Stoddard Elementary School is one of the 24 schools that make up the Anaheim Elementary School District.
The school provides students with a core academic program in reading, math, science and social studies, ensuring as well that students learn responsible use of technology. Students' social and emotional well being is a critical component in the curriculum. In addition, the school offers a number of district-sponsored programs, including a unique Dual Language Immersion program. Beginning in kindergarten, students are taught using a model that will enable them to think, read, write and communicate naturally in both English and Spanish. Classes are mixed with students who are both native English and native Spanish speakers.
The school also offers a Gifted and Talented Education Program (GATE) that is designed to meet the academic needs of exceptionally promising students in grades three through six. Stoddard Elementary also has a Parent and Family Engagement Policy that helps to facilitate and ensure that parents and caregivers play an active role in their student’s education.
Stoddard Elementary also offers an award-winning, YMCA-run after school program, known as Anaheim Achieves, that provides a variety of fun and engaging activities that help to reinforce the curriculum being taught to students during the school day.

I have had three students at Stoddard. The STEAM program.is very strong. The teachers are very strong and push the students. One of my children has a learning handicap and she has been very supported and is making great growth.
