Jonas E. Salk Elementary School is a public elementary school located on Gilbert Street on the southern border of West Anaheim. The school is one of the nine institutions that make up the Magnolia Elementary School District and serves approximately 620 students from preschool through sixth grade.
The test scores in English are about the same as the state average at Salk Elementary School while math scores are slightly above the state average. The student-to-teacher ratio is 21-to-1, and the school is dedicated to academic excellence as well as the development of individuals of good character.
In addition to its educational programs, Salk Elementary School offers art and music programs for all students including a district-wide band. The school also provides a dual language immersion program as well as after school and summer enrichment programming. It also has a gifted and talented program for students who demonstrate exceptional academic abilities.

My 2 kids do not want to transfer school even when we moved to a different area. They love their teachers who are after their well-being and education. They experienced being cared for and in one instance, one of my kids told me that her teacher is her mama bear in school. Kudos to all the teachers...
