Walt Disney Elementary School is a public elementary school located on W. Orange Avenue in the heart of West Anaheim. The school was built during the area’s population boom that was driven by Disneyland and opened its doors in 1957. Today, the school serves close to 600 students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Walt Disney Elementary School is part of the Magnolia Elementary School District and test scores at the school are above the state average in both English and math. The student-to-teacher ratio at Walt Disney Elementary is approximately 22-to-1.
As part of its mission, Walt Disney Elementary School works to provide an engaging educational environment that is founded on high achievement, compassion and exemplary programs. The school places a strong emphasis on technology and, beyond its core academic programs, offers arts and music programs for students as well.
