East Anchorage High School is a very diverse and welcoming school. The teachers are very helpful when you ask the for help or just to chat with. The counselors help to make sure that you are right on track to graduate and looking into colleges.

East High School was a pretty good school. There's a lot of diversity and there are many good teachers.

My favorite thing about my high school is the amount of diversity we have. I believe there are more than 85 different cultures represented at my school. We are considered the most diverse high school in the nation. I wish we had more funding to create more morale building activities for students.

I believe the school itself is a good school and the teachers are great but from my experience a lot of students there lack motivation and drive. Too many negative influences.

It would be a pretty good school if they would quit putting kids in detention for being 1 minute late for class. More kids are in detention then in class. The teachers threaten kids with the cops. Cops that are in the school all day if the student doesn't obey. If they don't go to detention they get...
