I moved to Straughn High School my junior year. I was so scared to enter a school much bigger than what I came from. On my first day, the administration greeted me and made sure I got to where I needed to be. They took care of me and genuinely cared. I quickly made friends because Straughn is not just a school, it is a family. I will forever be grateful i moved here.

Straughn is a small conservative school. The teachers are judgmental, punishment and discipline is subjective to the teacher. They like to call themselves a family - red flag. The teachers are bullies.

The thing I love most about Straughn High is the freedom to express our religion. We can pray at lunch, have Bible studies in the gym, and pray around the flag. I would not want anything to change about my school.
