I've been attending Ankeny School District since 2022. My overall experience has been good with only a few negative things I could say. Most of my complaints would be about certain teachers I didn't enjoy but we all have our opinions. Majority of the staff really try and push you to do your best and aim for success.

Ankeny High School does a great job of keeping a spotless and safe environment, which enables me as a student to feel comfortable around my peers. Another part of what makes Ankeny High School great is the support from teachers, with all of my teachers doing a great job of keeping me engaged and helping me whenever I need it.

My counselors and teachers are very helpful. I have been able to take many different classes in different subjects that I am interested in. I feel like I am well prepared for college after high school.

This school is far more welcoming and friendly than their sister school; Ankeny Centennial. This is overall what I have experienced throughout all the schools on the South side though.

I am the parent of a former special education student as well as a former food service worker at this school. Sammi was treated with respect and overall concern when she struggled. Her whole teaching staff came together when things got tough and helped her succeed. Thank you!

I'm actually a former student, but apparently those who had to deal with principals and parent influence on a daily basis aren't qualified to comment on them. Plenty of programs for everyone, facilities are good, and certain departments (bio, spanish, chemistry, physics) have excellent teachers. How...
