Excellent school, however it lacks diversity which leads to a lack of social skills when entering the real world and interacting with people of of races.

The school has mostly prepared me for college. Some of my classes (AP Classes) have been great. Unfortunately I don't believe the math courses are very well taught. Luckily my Mom is a college math teacher and I was able to learn the material from her. The English department was also excellent.

probably one of the most horrible places. don't send your kids here. admin is probably some of the worst organized people and do not prioritize anything of importance. instead, they target students they do not like or do not agree with. overall a very closed minded and snooty community. there's probably four good teachers at this school. admin and staff seem to spend virtually all their time nitpicking dress code, probably because they have no idea how to spend their time at work otherwise. kids who are slightly different are shunned and there is an alarming lack of diversity. forget about acceptance- the school handbook is probably one of the most offensive things ever written. limited view of women. limited view of really anyone other than a straight white man. the only thing that saves you at this school from four depressing isolating years is if you are lucky enough to meet some amazing friends.

FGR has really allowed our son to thrive. He has good friends and plenty of opportunities to engage in extra curricular activities. The academics are solid. It's been worth every dollar in tuition.

Deciding to attend Father Gabriel Richard High School was the best decision I have ever made. I came into this school as someone who wanted to grow their faith and learn at an academically challenging institution and this school fit both of those requirements and went beyond my expectations. I am no...

Could not be happier with our choice to send our D to FGR. It feels like the best kept secret in our area. Academics are very rigorous but supportive. Teachers and staff create a warm family environment at the HS. Sports and spirit are wonderful as well. Having older children in other schools we wis...

From my experience, FGR has worked hard to provide an excellent Catholic education for my four children. No school is perfect, but I find the teachers and administration to be receptive to concerns and work to find ways to improve a situation. The Academic Support Center has some exceptional paraedu...
