We have had a welcoming experience at Thurston. Our son has autism, and everyone, especially Principal York, has been so helpful in getting him the care and services he needs. The entire Thurston community open and friendly. I've said this to people from out of town: I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in Ann Arbor except in our Thurston neighborhood. Although A2 gets a "C" for cost of living, this neighborhood is relatively affordable by A2 standards.
