GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall great experience. I felt prepared for life after high school. Caring teachers, great arts opportunities. Small town, good community support of the schools. Somewhat lacking in diversity.

Annandale High school is a great environment to learn in. It has amazing teachers who want to see you succeed. So if you do need any extra help with anything, they are willing to so. I only have two negative opinions on the school. The first being that It is a smaller school and I personally don't like it. And the second is that there isn't a lot of classes to chose from. So if you are looking for any AP classes, there are only a few option. So you would have to consider going PSEO for any further advancement of classes. Although it is a smaller school, the community of the school and the city of Annandale is very welcoming.
