GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best: great focus on a career outside of high school, prepares you for your trade and what comes with it, also many opportunities for work-based if you find a company you like. The worst: For students that pursue higher-education, you will find little-to-no college readiness. There are no AP courses you can take, or extra curriculars that will boost your application. The only offers are honors courses which do boost your GPA, but there is little benefit.

From my experience most teachers are kind and want students to succeed but many in the front office are not very flexible with students. There are rules that are enforced that don't go for everyone so it doesn't make it fair for all the students. The school needs to do better.

My experience with Emmit O'Brien. I love when I graduate, I have it certificate in PMT and I can get a job after I graduate. I was still able to take honor classes and continue with my education. I was excepted at University of New Haven, will start my new journey becoming a physician assistant surgery.
