Antonito High school is a really small school. Although it's small, everyone here is very lovely and extremely smart. The staff is fantastic; they care about the students and are willing to help anyone at any time. All students get along and know each other very well. It's like a small family; we may have our ups and downs, but there are never any significant conflicts. As a small school, we come together to help one another and also the community.

Antonito High School has a lot of fan support when it comes to sports. However, there doesn't seem to be much school pride. Our athletic facilities aren't very good, but our gym, one of the best in the San Luis Valley is extraordinary because it can seat about 1,000 people.

As a student who graduated from this school, I found the education poor at best. Students were often encouraged to take easier courses, and not learn material. I personally know about half the students who go on to college, often have to take remedial college courses. There are probably less than 20...
