GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Apex Friendship High School has highs and lows. The teachers are all very kind, lenient and understanding of any personal issues you may be experiencing. However, the food is abysmal. It is outrageously priced, and it is the quality is underwhelming.

I was shocked to hear Academy of Engineering is Race based lottery. To make sure majority white students get in. For Academy of Engineering they don't give preference to academic excellence. If you are POC you will be discriminated while getting references.

I would not change my high school experience for the world. Since the moment I became a student at apex friendship I've been supported by my peers, teachers, and administrators. Even despite having a learning disability I've been encouraged and supported when deciding to take challenging classes and I've always been given the resources I need to succeed.

This school is only good if you aren't a POC. If you are thinking of sending your minority child to this school please reconsider. Life is already hard enough as a minority in this country. Bring your child somewhere that allows them to make strong connections. If you aren't White and if you haven't...

Having been a student at this school, it has been nothing but awful. Out of all of the teachers I have had, I have only liked 2. Parents. if you love your children, dont send them here.
