At Appleton North I have had a great experience however, I can't tell the whole story. I am there for the first half of the day and the second half in the Fox Cities Leadership Wing with everyone else in the charter school, Fox Cities Leadership Academy. During my time at Appleton North, I have always felt the same, but I am sure that is not for everyone, there have been lots of fights within our school, and where is the officer? In FCLA there haven't been any fights, in fact, all of us have a tight bond that makes our learning environment more enjoyable.

Over my 4 years at Appleton North, I have had 3 different and many more assistant principles. I can confidently say that the current staff and administration are perfect for reviving the almost-dead school culture and school pride. There isn't much school spirit but I feel that the current Principal will have the school back to its glory days in no time.

A large selection of advanced classes. However, promotes a culture where football is superior and places athletes on a pedestal.

My daughter graduated from North and I substitute taught there. Their drama department is excellent. I have high regard for this high school.

Appleton North focuses too much on unrealistic academic achievement. Need to submit your class rank to colleges? It's a shame that you attended Appleton North. If you do not have a 4.0 GPA you are already dropped to below 60% of your class rank, a 3.5 and you're under 50%. Appleton North feels like...
