My experience at Appleton North High School was relatively good. There was nothing throughout my four years that stuck out as being awful. My best experiences came from the theatre department. I made so many amazing memories in theatre and the department as a whole was wonderful. From the incredible parent involvement to the support from our directors. I also loved that as students we were given the chance to take charge and build our leadership skills. Aside from theatre everything else about ANHS was great too. I always had teachers that wanted the best for their students and I knew I would have support if I ever needed it.

I believed many teachers tried to make a fun learning, but were interrupted by disrespectful students. I wish the school took better safety precautions to avoid intruders.

My daughter graduated from North and I substitute taught there. Their drama department is excellent. I have high regard for this high school.

Appleton North focuses too much on unrealistic academic achievement. Need to submit your class rank to colleges? It's a shame that you attended Appleton North. If you do not have a 4.0 GPA you are already dropped to below 60% of your class rank, a 3.5 and you're under 50%. Appleton North feels like...
