GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my four years at Six Rivers Charter, I never felt as if the level of education was fully up to par. I feel as though certain classes at Six Rivers were lower level when compared to other high schools. I do really appreciate most of the staff, as they made an effort to connect with the students and assist them in not only school, but personal problems as well. I notice that the average level of intelligence among the student body was much lower than that of the high school that we shared a campus with.

The small school environment really allows students to succeed. Teachers have more time for individual attention with each of their students, and the teachers really care.

I have really enjoyed being in such a small school, i am able to get my work done in class, and everyone is very nice. TRhe teachers are also very supportive and helpful and really care.

I liked this school they worked with my needs (if I went to any other schooli would have needed to file a 504 to get any extra help). I worked as an Aid for credits, which was great work experience. I don't see how teen pregnacy is a mark of a bad school, the two kids that were pregnent went I was t...

More interested in building it's test scores than serving all students, including lower achievers who need additional help. Social issues aren't addressed and the less restrictive environment has encouraged negative behaviors. Check the teen pregnancy rate of this school against others, per capita....

Someone was complaining about the "special needs" students. I went there and there were/are students there will all kinds of needs. Being one myself I liked that if I needed extra help I could make dates with the teachers after school and ACTUALLY GET IT. At one point I was extremely sick and couldn...

An extraordinary high school, with a dedicated principal and inspired staff. I'd recommend SRCHS to any parent or teen.
