Founded in 1996 by local community members, Arizona Cultural Academy is a private Islamic school serving students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. On a campus located near the base of South Mountain, the school offers Muslims one of only a handful of Islamic-based educational settings in Arizona.
With a faith-based approach to learning, the academy has a mission to nurture “the brightest students who will mature into upright, tolerant, and law-abiding citizens.” The academy is dedicated to the preservation of Islamic identity and Muslim heritage through fostering character development in all of its students.
In addition to a core curriculum of math, English, science, and social studies classes, students can also take Advance Placement classes and dual enrollment courses. Additionally, through South Mountain Community College, students can earn credits for elementary and intermediate Arabic, pre-calculus, analytical geometry, and chemistry.
Outside of class, students can participate in National Honor Society at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Those more athletically inclined can compete in after-school sports, as the academy partners with the Canyon Athlete Association to offer boys’ varsity basketball and other team sports.
Arizona Cultural Academy also hosts an Umrah program for its high school students, parents, and community members, among other offerings important to the Muslim community.

My children have been attending ACA for 7 years and I have seen wonderful growth in the school. They are constantly striving to set high expectations in academics, religious studies and excellence. Middle school and high school students, both boys and girls are now participating in competitive sports teams offered through ACA. My children are happy to be part of the ACA community.

I do not even know where to begin, but first this is a school where they allow for bullying, turn their head the other way toward the aggressors and your child is the one left suffering. And, when you do address the administration about your child incessantly being bullied, they make you feel wrong...

LOVE ACA... I have to kids there one in KG and the other is in P-K .. My KG scores in Sylvan 1.6 in Math and 1.8 in English !!! that's more than a first grade level mashaallah!!
