Arkoma was a very comfy community where everyone knew everyone, which came with pros and cons. If you could get people to like you you had the potential to make friends with everyone including the teachers, but if they didn't like you then there could be potential for being outcasted, and even treated differently by teachers. I feel like there needs to be less favoritism and more support to the kids who aren't as well liked.

I have attended Arkoma Public Schools my whole life and year after year the teachers and staff always make sure each student is taken care of. They continue to make strides to make each day better for us even if it's the smallest of things. With Covid this year they have tried to make sure we get the most out of the school year and can finish it through. When most kids move here they say they love it because you have people willing to help at every corner. Whether it's carrying books or needing to talk they will stop what they are doing to make sure the student gets taken care of. I wouldn't want to have been at any other school during my 12+ years of school.

The school has made many changes that are wonderful for the kids. This is turning out to be the best year so far since my kids started school there. I really think they are a 5 star but have room for improvement like everyone can. So I give over all I give them a 4.5.

Although the Arkoma School District is small compared to most of the schools it is closest to, the quality of students, education, staff, administration and overall spirit and attitude have definitely improved over the past 4 - 6 years. When I see the alumni come visit, it gives me great pleasure to...
