The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Pretty good, it has its fair share of issues (every school has its issues, but it's all around average. It has a pretty good AP and IB program with resources to help students and the AP teachers are great.

As this senior year begins I've seen how much my previous teachers and current truly care about the set of students they have. Except for a few that make this class extremely hard to learn in. Other than that I really liked the majority of my teachers. The best part of Arroyo Valley is that the people in the clubs are kind and friendly. The worst part of my experience would have to be the lack of resources that this school offers since I didn't know that my grades and AP scores truly mattered until I did research last year.
This school is cool because I like the teachers here and also the students. The teachers here are very chill and very sweet in their own way. Sometimes, I feel a little safe going to school. I would definitely recommend going to this school.
The teachers at Arroyo Valley care for the students and their education. They put a lot of emphasis on making sure the students know what they are learning and if not they help them understand.
