GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think there needs to be more of a focus on college preparedness and college readiness. There is not a college going culture in the sense that no one applies to schools outside of NM/TX. There needs to be more to get students outside of the region and see the world.

My school is one of, if not the best schools in New Mexico. We have many great teachers, class options, and sport facilities. Everyone has a place at our school, and I'm glad to be here out of every other school in New Mexico.

It is fun and you can enjoy it if you find what you like to do in school and doing a lot of fun things in it and doing other fun like skills USA and going on competitions and being able to learn new things.
