The teachers at Pomona are some of the best people I've ever been taught by! The student council makes it very easy to be involved in the school. It was a truly wonderful high school experience!

I moved to Pomona High School my sophomore year from Arvada thinking the transition would be really hard but all the teachers and staff welcomed me with open arms and gave me endless resources to use to make my experience the best it could be. I couldn't be more thankful for the teachers here.

The current principal lacks experience in the most basic nuances of modern high school education. His middle school background is evident, as he's prone to gossip, pedantry, and forcing the staff to play along with embarrassing "shout outs" during staff meetings to his favorite (compliant) cohorts....

Smaller high school (great for kids who might feel overwhelmed in larger schools) with caring staff. Teachers and administration are very responsive to parents and engage with their students.

If your child has no learning issues, this school might be a good fit. If you have a child who has learning issues and is on an IEP, they will not receive an adequate education. The more people I talk about from all generations the more I learn that this school is infamously known for expelling people wrongfully by picking out the people that they know are in a low income situation
