The admin at this school look for themselves first and not the students or the staff. Violent and misbehaving students are kept in class and are always sent back to the classroom to disrupt the flow of teaching. There is a disconnect between what teachers need and what admin want.

My kids and I's experience with pre-K into 1st grade have been wonderful. The school has been very welcoming, and you can tell they are trying to be very proactive in helping students improve their reading proficiency. This sweet little neighborhood school proves big things come in small packages. My kids have had great relationships with their teachers - both in preschool and big kids school. Teachers and administrators are engaged and proactively communicate with parents. We love Secrest Elementary!

This school is a great neighborhood school. Small classes ensure my kids get the attention and support they need. Administration is very open to feedback and available for all suggestions. The community is very committed to growing this school into a strong home school!
