I would say that my experience at Arvin was pretty generic. I think I got the better end of the stick in my opinion, due to being in the honors and DE program. It had its ups and downs, sometimes our resources felt pretty limited and I know this is the same throughout the entire school. A very big downside I see about the school though, is that there is little to no school spirit. Students don't really participate in anything anymore and even in most teachers as well.

The best experiences I have had in Arvin High were the activities done as a class. There were different activities such as field trips, sport games, and projects.

So far as a junior in high school, I've really enjoyed my time in high school. I've met amazing people and teachers who've expanded my perspectives on life. My teachers motivate me and encourage me and so do my peers. The people around me encourage me to be the best version of myself. Some specific teachers have sparked my passion for teaching, especially in math.

The school dress code is whack because only certain people get in trouble. Also, they only recognize students in athletics and not people who do well academically.
