GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school is overall nice, with very good teachers in all departments. Oakmont is well kept and the teachers really bond with and care about their students. All the departments in the school have good teachers that make learning easy, and fun. The only criticism I have for Oakmont is the math department, as some teachers have trouble following curriculum in the department, and there has been a lot of turnover in the department in my time at Oakmont.

Good sports but bad education. Math struggles but english is very good. The teaches are okay. The administration is very bad.

The teachers were great people. The administration was all over the place and never was able to take control of the student body.

My experience at Oakmont as a student was one of challenge and fun, with wonderful teachers excellent in their fields. Ashburnham and Westminster are fortunate to have such a high-quality school. Bravo to all who make it possible.

I graduated a few years ago and it has been the best experience of my life. Sometimes I wish I could go back. Who thinks that about their high school?!?!?!?! I wasn't even a good kid! But I love this school and the staff very much. They made me not feel so small in such a big way. I've moved states...

Very special high school with strong academics, especially in English, History, Math, and Science. Folks are warm and friendly in this small town and the teachers are exceptional at Oakmont.

As a recent Oakmont graduate, I had a pretty great experience. Lots of leadership opportunities through clubs and sports. One let down is the lack of class offerings, especially AP courses.
