It prepared me well enough for college, and I really did learn from my teachers. Not everything I learned was school based, actually many of it was life lessons from teachers and fellow students. I loved my time there even if the education wasn't the best.

Well, some of the teachers work towards actually trying to make a good environment for the students, but a lot of them don't seem to care all that much. I just feel like my mental health has deteriorated my mental health.

I transferred to Ashdown High in my senior year of high school. I came from a bigger city in Texas. Everyone here was welcoming and they helped me to retain my credits despite the differences between the two states. The only thing that I wish I could change when it comes to Ashdown is how they weigh their classes. Before I transferred I had a 4.0 GPA, but when I moved to Ashdown it dropped to a 3.66 GPA. That isn't a big difference but I am a senior and my grades are how I am paying for college.
