GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There are a few good teachers at Cheatham who really do care about their students, but ultimately the school is so bogged down with students with behavioral and mental health issues that academics and overall general happiness take a huge hit.

It's an amazing school! Made all of my friends there. The only complaint I would have is that they are underfunded and have limited access to technology and are in need of a remodel.

Cheatham is good about getting their students to be involved with different clubs, sports, and other school activities.

Terrible and unsafe for our students and teachers. The principal and assistant principle as well as other administrators I have met were very rude and conniving towards me. Insulted my intelligence as a parent and ignored the problem in their school. They have no business holding a position of autho...
