Founded in 2005 by three women who shared the idea that school should be a place where children love to be, Aspen Academy's campus is full of innovative and inspiring learning spaces designed to engage every child. The pre-K through eighth-grade school sits south of Denver in the Cherry Hills Village neighborhood and is home to an outdoor art studio and gallery, a performing arts center, a wetlands lab, sports courts and more. Students are encouraged to explore their passions while also selecting classes that expose them to new adventures in learning. Aspen Academy's founders believe that learning is most impactful within a real-world context, so curriculum at all levels includes hands-on, project-based lessons. Students simulate events from history, experiment with the world around them and connect their lessons to real-world contexts. The school's vision is to be a leader in innovative and transformative education. Through its values, Aspen Academy hopes to inspire its students, parents and educators to grow, learn and lead.

Aspen Academy is an excellent school with superb academics, engaged teachers, a very involved parent community, and a fabulous administration who is always on the cutting edge of the newest educational approaches. Our daughter loves it here.

Aspen Academy is more than a school, it is a community, a home, a family. When you walk in those doors you will be greeted with smiling facts and curious children who are taught how to love themselves, love others and use their strengths to make the world better. I like to think of Aspen as a hidden gem that I am so thankful I discovered and can call it "my home."
