Menlo School provides such a variety of opportunities that students can use to develop their own academic and social skills, as well as develop themselves as people. Menlo is unique in that it really simulates the freedom of a university experience as it has no bell and you can choose your own pathway through the years (humanities/stem/arts etc.).

I am a former parent and still connected to a few faculty at the school. Caveat emptor — the administration (its greatest liability) is making major changes to the academic rigor of Menlo. They have or will phase out ALL AP classes — administration is informing teachers what and how they will teach. This all seems driven by some influential parents wanting their children to have an easy conduit to a good college. Many faculty have left this school because of these changes. We would make a different school choice today given these changes and I tell friends and colleagues this when asked.

Beautiful school. I'm a transfer student and was anxious about going to a new school but, I'm so glad I took that chance and went for it. Found my new home.
