I have gone to Menlo since I was 11 years old, and I absolutely love it. I'm pretty academic and there have been significant opportunities for intellectual growth as well as social connections. There is plenty of college support and even more opportunities to start something you're passionate about and lead. The teachers are lovely and if you look for it, you can form genuine relationships with many of them.

The passion the teachers have for teaching is what makes school life enjoyable. You make great life-long friends and learn while having fun. The clubs are very fun to be a part of and a way to build community. I love the spirit days and the school games and traditions. We get to be who we want to be. Some of the "worst" parts are probably the way students aren't really aware of the real world since they come from wealth.

Menlo is a place where I was able to grow and expand in and outside of the classroom. The classes are very demanding; however, most teachers are understanding and willing to work with you towards your goal. The teachers are definitely the highlight of the school.
