They are limited in the extracurricular activities due to budget constraints, but they are stronger in fine arts.

If you want your child to be spoon-fed and entitled rather than work hard, learn and become a responsible and productive member of society, definitely pull your child out and "homeschool". If you believe in the KIPP motto: "Work hard. Be nice." you will probably love it here.

The schools does not have text books! How are students expected to get better when they have nothing to study from. There are no extracurricular activities. The kids cannot be competitive with students from other school because they do not have a chance to gain leadership experience because there ar...

Extremely surprised at the ratings (that is how I got fooled). With my child coming into the school, they mentioned that several students and their parents complained about it... after a few months, I was added to the list of parents that just isn't happy with the place. Overall a good experience. I still wish the children had books to work from, especially for homework. Not all children are the best note takers and if the parent is to assist with homework, we need a tool or guide to help us. The tomes don't always cut it. But overall, it's a good school.
