Since 1958 Oak Grove Elementary has educated the children of Atlanta, providing quality lessons structured to turn young pupils into lifelong learners. With over 400 attendees and an exceptionally high ratio of teachers to students, this Pre-K to 5th school is the first educator for many children in the Briarcliff area. The school boasts high annual retention of its faculty, making the staff exceptionally familiar with the ins and outs of the campus and its most successful practices. As a STEM school, Oak Grove employs scientific teaching methods to give its students a solid grounding in practical skills, preparing them for their future education. Even as an elementary school, Oak Grove provides gifted services, providing special care to identify and nurture gifted individuals. OGE is highly under rated. If you look at our test scores we are a 9 out of 10. Even though it is a Growth over Proficiency school. However this website includes other insignificant categories that drag the numbers down. My experience is that the staff is using solid learning tools and that they do...
