Founded in 1997, The Felicia Penzell Weber Jewish Community High School, more commonly known as The Weber School, serves about 350 students. The school offers a rich curriculum of college-preparatory classes. Its “Only at Weber” experiences include The Daniel Zalik Academy, a science, technology, engineering and design program, and The Sports Science Academy. This curriculum offers an Honors Diploma program in sports-related fields. Music, theater and fine arts offerings serve to enhance the program. Many students participate in the Abe Besser Senior Israel-Poland Experience, a three-week trip during senior year that lets students study Jewish history and contemporary life in Israel and Poland. The Weber School also offers a Spanish Immersion Program that includes field trips in the Atlanta area, local culture, and extended-stay opportunities in Spain or Cuba, where they can study Jewish communities and life. Over 65% of Weber students participate in athletics. The Weber Rams compete in the Georgia High School Association with 17 varsity and five junior varsity teams. Rooted in the Jewish culture and celebrating the faith’s traditions, The Weber School offers students opportunities to develop character, judgment and confidence as they learn.

The experience between students and teachers was very good. The access to a multitude of leadership roles and different experiences was beyond what our expectations. Because it is growing , there were some growing pains associated with this but overall the experience was excellent.

Teachers very engaging with students. Excellent curriculum. Many extra curricular choices. Students have many opportunities to be connected to community and school.

The Weber School has enabled me to take advantage of opportunities I wouldn't have had anywhere else. I feel engaged in the classroom, and throughout my day. It's provided me with an outlet to express myself and an enviroment to surround myself with quality people.

I was a Weber parent. My son was early to school everyday and never, ever had a complaint in 4 years. In fact, his only comments were about how much he enjoyed a particular teacher or a particular class, or how much he was challenged in a particular class but grateful for the growth.
