GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Terrible safety and bullying issues. favors troubled kids and lets them get away with anything. faculty engages in teenage drama and does not give support.

Honestly, I thought it would be less diverse considering it's in a smaller town, but it has an amazingly diverse group. I have found so many friends in my time being at school.

I think that overall, AHS is a great school. While it does have some issues like drugs, drama, and gossip, those are all things that each student can avoid. I for one have never had any issues around drama or drugs. I am not "popular" by any means and I have a ton of friends. I am involved in so many clubs and groups, and I take great classes.

The teachers are involved as instructors, coaches, mentors, and sponsors at almost every level, and the community does a great job of getting behind AHS initiatives to impr...
