My kids started here in Gilbert but moved for some time with dad in Newport but when they came back they were 2 years behind and my younger child was held back because Newport didn't understand he was traumatized. So coming back to Gilbert they had some struggles at first but began to excel. Their teachers invest in their students to ensure their educational success. They have days so parents can spend time with their kids for lunch and family time after school for arts and crafts or some other kind of event focused on family fun time. They have many field trips for the kids abd weekly they celebrate the kids that outshine. But they also celebrate those who do good. They encourage kids to be the best themselves and families to have family time together. It really is a community based school that my kids have thrived in.

The majority of substitutes ( long and short term) have no qualifications for teaching and have no experience/knowledge of 504 accommodations or classroom instruction/ management and de escalation strategies. My daughter loves this school, the teachers and principal are amazing. The front office staff leaves a little to be desired, but overall a wonderful environment for my daughter.
