Griffin students receive a well-rounded liberal arts education that prepares them to be engaged thinkers, communicators and creators. Small classes allow for tailored instruction and meaningful discussion. A deep respect for students’ individuality and freedom of expression helps young learners to grow and thrive both in and outside the classroom. I have only the highest admiration and respect for Adam and Caroline and the guiding principles they set for this school. They are consistently responsive to our questions and concerns. Our son is a graduating senior whose Griffin experience exceeded our already-high expectations. Initially we chose Griffin for him because we felt he needed a nurturing, non-judgmental environment in which he could feel comfortable being himself. We were amazed by how much he matured, especially socially, during his freshman year. He took an unprecedented level of responsibility and initiative to get his work done without our involvement, thanks largely to The Study Hall period, which allowed him to get most of his homework done & freed up his evening at home, eliminating a source of family stress. Today he is a young, responsible adult. Our daughter has completed her freshman year @ Griffin and has had an equally positive experience; we expect her to continue to flourish as well.
