Located in the Anderson Mill neighborhood of Austin is Harmony School of Endeavor—Austin, a pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade public charter school. It is part of the state-wide Harmony Public School System which is a rigorous school system focused on science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, fields.
Harmony strives to provide a caring and collaborative atmosphere and a student-centered educational program. The school maintains a vision to lead students from the classroom into the world as productive and responsible citizens.
Any student who lives within the school's boundary can apply online to attend Harmony, as boundaries for Harmony schools often include whole cities. Sometimes there are more applicants than spots at Harmony and, in these instances, students are chosen by a random lottery.
Students can expect an academically rigorous environment and an education specifically focused on STEM fields. My son has been a Harmony student since kindergarten. We briefly tried public school for about 3 months but quickly returned to Harmony. The academics here are challenging, which keeps my son engaged and constantly learning. What we appreciate most are the strong, long-lasting friendships he's built with his peers. Harmony has truly been the best environment for his growth, both academically and socially.

Very good school academically. Students are challenged. and given the opportunity to participate in many competitions.

Students are respectful, and parents are supportive. Admins are understanding and generally good people to work with. but facilities must be improved.

Has a great community of different cultures, love how diverse the school is, as this teaches students to respect and understand all cultures. The school overall is great at challenging their students academically, to ensure they exceed once going to college.
