The AP classes were generally good, and there were a couple teachers that I really liked. I was also in the marching band, which was a great program for the most part — I even marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC. However, many of the staff were negligent and dismissive of mental health and one teacher even disclosed my 504 status to the class, which led to some bullying.

Overall, VHS did a great job in preparing me for college and the SAT. I felt like they worked hard to walk alongside me throughout my college application process.

Best public high school in 200 mile radius. And getting better every year. Very rigorous preparation for college. Excellent facilities and coaching. Best band and music program in the state of Texas.

7.8/10, very fun and tolerate teachers so that is good. Though some students think they are better than others and don't want to learn, so not the teachers fault. Traffic sucks....

Being a parent of students at this school is stressful at best. There are a few gems in the pool of staff and I do appreciate that.
