GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Had fun, learned lots, and enjoyed it. Great facilitates and community support, solid academics, sports, and club to get involved in. Most teachers genuinely care

Going to High School at AHST was a great experience for me. I enjoys the various activities and sports that I participated in. Teachers were very professional and knowledgeable about their certain field of study. I hope to raise a family nearby and have my children attend AHST.

I like going to the school because the teachers were very nice and what needs to change is the food. I really did not like the food that's there besides the pizza.

Most teachers don't teach. Favor certain kids and give them good grades even if the kids don't turn anything in at all. Only cares about passing the kids without trying to get them to learn. Bullying is a major problem and is never dealt with what-so-ever.

This school is GREAT! Great young students, great athletics, and a great sense of pride. They strive to do their best and every student/faculty member wants this school to succeed.

School is more interested in saving money by hiring inexperienced teachers than they are at educating. Inexperienced administration, again; high turnover. Horrible ethical behavior of some extra staff. Choose another school.
