GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school has a strong pride as being a small public school with a diverse student body and extracurricular activities usually seen in bigger towns. The teachers and faculty are quite easy to approach and talk to, from homework problems to personal worries.

In my high school, there are numerous things I absolutely love about it. From the caring and passionate students that are in my school to the teachers/ staff that help any student when they need. In my high school there's only about on average 17 kids in a class. We get one on one help from our teachers if we're struggling on a subject. Our teachers care about us and want to see us succeed in school, so we can succeed in life. As for any changes, I wouldn't make any changes to my school. I love it just the way it is. I'm proud to a student at Badger Secondary School in Minnesota and nothing will ever change my mind about it.

Coming from a small, rather poor school of about 75 kids in 6th grade, this school was amazing to walk into. Even now in my senior year I'm still in love with this school. I may be a bit biased since I've only ever been to one other school, but I believe they do the best that they possibly can with what they are given. Unlike a lot of schools, they emphasize the arts almost equally with sports, despite being unable to offer an actual art class due to the lack of a teacher for it. I wish they could offer more foreign language classes, but unfortunately that is also due to their lack of teachers to teach them. Living in a small town in the middle of nowhere tends to minimize the pool of teachers to pick from.
