GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would personally say that my overall experience with Woodland Jr/Sr High School has been mixed. We lose and gain new administration every year, we are short staffed most of the time, and cannot hold staff for longer than a year. Although, I have made my experience better by creating the LGBTQ and Civil rights club and by connecting myself with the staff we currently have.

Since my freshman year we have had 3 different principles, I have had multiple stalkers during my freshman-junior years. But most of the faculty is very nice and is always there for you if you need help with something even if it's not school-related.

Our school is lacking in clubs, there are only about a handful but there are a lot of options for sports so at least there's that. Our student body is so white that it makes it all the more clear that Maine truly is the whitest state. The college prep programs, when compared to the regular ones, are about the same.

Not good. Before we moved to Calais it was an everyday occurrence for our child to come home upset. Moving was the best decision ever. Unless you’re a basketball player they, get, you’ll have it made and graduate stupid. Enjoy your Peak in HS
