My experience at Highland High School has been In my opinion alright. My Freshman and Sophomore years were a bit difficult because I was bullied for my sexuality. But my Junior and Senior (Current year) have been very well and honestly some of my favorite school years.

While I've enjoyed my time at Highland, I do think there's a lot of work that could be done at the school. We have a lot of amazing clubs with high student involvement on campus, but our school does lack safety. There's a lot of fights, a lot of tardies, and we've had to change a lot of rules on campus to accommodate these things, which students don't necessarily like. And, although Highland does a great job of teaching students, I know a lot of people don't feel ready for college, and a lot of the time we aren't told how to start preparing for college until junior year.

I created long lasting enjoyable relationships with my teachers throughout my highschool life at Highland High School. An overwhelming majority of them were very understanding or kind when it came to teaching, communicating, going out of their way to help.

I hate my apex class i have to sit for 3 hours of my time and my back hurts from reading .It is difficult for me to study for 3 hours and they take away your phone and your backpack for to cheating.
