East Valley Adventist School is a private Christian school in Baldwin Park serving pupils in kindergarten to eighth grade. The school is part of the world's largest Protestant educational system and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Seventh-Day Adventist North American Division Commission on Accreditation. Founded in 1937 before being relocated to Baldwin Park in 1945 at the cusp of the city's development boom, East Valley Adventist strives to offer immersive learning experiences to their students to promote academic, mental, emotional and spiritual growth in accordance with the principles of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. There are just three teachers employed at East Valley Adventist in order to keep classes purposely small, so every student receives individual attention. The school has a differentiated learning policy facilitated by micro class sizes which enables students to learn at their own pace, and advance in subjects they have strength in and receive the necessary help for weaker subjects.
