St. John the Baptist School is a private religious school affiliated with, and located on the premises of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Baldwin Park. Part of the Archdiocese of the San Gabriel region, the church was founded in 1946 and the school in 1952.
Originally a classroom building that could accommodate 300 elementary school students, St. John the Baptist School underwent several expansions and now serves more than 400 students per year in kindergarten through eighth grade.
St. John the Baptist offers an educational environment that fosters students' spiritual, psychological and moral development in addition to academic and athletic pursuits. The school's STREAM program (science, technology, religion, engineering, arts and math) provides students with the opportunity to learn to code, build with various materials and program robots.
Art and music programs are available during the school day and as extracurricular after-school lessons. St. John the Baptist also offers before and after-school programs to accommodate working parents.
Transitional kindergarten classes are offered for children who are four years old, and children must be five years old to register for kindergarten. Both grades tend to fill quickly, so early registration is recommended.

Everything other than the 2 years I was forced to spend with a teacher who would rather encourage failure than being successful the school itself was fine
