The best part about going to poly is the fact that it's the best public high school in Baltimore when it comes to preparing for college academic and sports wise. With our different pathways and classes you can choose to take you are able to find a subject that you are able to go into and love. The culture is kind of out dated so it isn't as seen much now as it was but we are working on getting it back into flow. The only bad part about the school is that the building is fairly old so some facilities are either very fragile or aren't working at all but that will be fixed in coming years when the whole building is getting renovated

Poly has a rich, diverse, and involved community. Through its Alumni, coaches, and teachers your ability to stand out for colleges and build friendships improves drastically compared to any public school in baltimore and even some private school.

My daughter and I love this school. It challenges her mind and engages her interest. All of the students here are friendly there’s no bullying and that’s a plus for us. I highly recommend this school.

The home work load is substantial after the freshman year where it's too light. My kid has a 4.0 average and strugg...
