Diversity is not something that is easily fixable. Education and learning is. While there are decent teachers, on the whole the staff is not the best. As far as college counseling. That was TERRIBLE. If it wasn't for my parents and older siblings, I'd be lost.

It was an amazing!!!! The staff, faculty, and most of the students were great. Also the after school clubs they offered were great.

I've attended Bangor High School all 4 years of my high school career. It is a great school with many opportunities and amazing teachers. Everyone is very close and helps out eachother whenever they are in need.

Moving to Bangor Maine was one of the worst mistakes we ever made. The school department is horrible. We had children in 3 different Bangor schools and we quickly realized that the administration was unimaginably bad. In particular, Principal Paul Butler from Bangor High School. My experience as a student at Bangor High School was extremely poor. I was alone without support in a school that just doesn't care about the majority. They care about sports and smart kids. No child left behind... yeah right! If you're attending Bangor High School, it's like you're going to school...

This school is pathetic. My kids have been in schools all over the world, and this by far is the worst. The administrators in the school do not lead, and do not encourage creativity and original thought. My eleventh grade daughter is teaching the History teacher details about the American revolution...
