GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've loved every second of being at central and I'd do it all over again. They make you feel like family. It feels like home and never a dull moment in all 4 years of high school

The best part is the friends I've made there and the worst part is not feeling like I can be myself as a member of the lgbtq+ community.

The experience at my high school overall I would say is not the best. I have plenty of friends at the school and that is not an issue. However I have seen lots of issues that are related to drugs. I have seen marijuana, fentanyl, nicotine, and the use of many other drugs. Teachers who don't treat all students fairly and make it more difficult on others. Racism is another common issue that I see happen and it is not treated as an issue by the school. In conclusion, knox central has many issues in the school and needs to be dealt with, but the people who have the power to make change in the school do not try and do so.

It should be understood that a majority of low test scores stem from the high number of students from broken, impoverished family's, a result from the lack of deve...
