GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think that in all my years of attending this school we had one college fair, It was a lot of fun because we also had other things we had to do, Kind of like a game. We had to choose our occupation and learn how to budget as well. It would have been nice to have more of these for the students to get more of an idea on different jobs.

The Reason behind my Rating of It's bad, Is because Carlisle County High School does not offer many sports options. Football being a traditional sport that I love to watch, was never an option. There aren't many club options and you have to be a part of a certain "click" to be accepted in those certain activities.

Basketball is the main sport and we go all out at the games especially the boys games. We also have rivals with our school and we always have lots of school spirit encouraging the team. I have heard that each sport has its own fitness programs, but do challenge each athlete to give their all, especially during the conditioning season.
